The LCRF welcomes submissions of grant requests for funding covering all aspects of lung cancer. Grant requests can include new project submissions as well as request for renewal of current funding. The submissions are evaluated according to the standard NIH guidelines for scientific merit and originality of concept by the Medical Advisory Board of the LCRF. Additional consideration is given to the project's consistency with the mission of the LCRF and support for a broad distribution of research across many fields of lung cancer research in the final LCRF Board of Directors decisions.

Medical Advisors do not review submissions from their home institutions.
The Lung Cancer Research Foundation will award individual grants of $ 50,000 a year in the Fall of 2010.

Application Deadline July 30, 2010.
Each year, the Foundation will award the LCRF Scientific Merit Award acknowledging the scientific investigator whose proposal was selected for outstanding overall merit by the LCRF Medical Advisory peer review.
