#TogetherSeparately: Lung Cancer from Day 1…and Beyond
April 17 @ 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm EDT
A lung cancer diagnosis can be shocking, confusing, and unsettling. When you’re looking for guidance, where do you even start? Julia Rotow, MD, will walk us through what patients and caregivers can expect, what resources are available to them, guidance in assembling and managing their care team, and questions to ask at appointments. We’re also looking forward to diving into some details around clinical trials; how they work, how to get involved, and your rights as a patient.
Be sure to bring your questions. Patients who have had lung cancer for any length of time are invited to attend. Your experiences are valuable!
Dr. Rotow is Clinical Director, Lowe Center for Thoracic Oncology, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Assistant Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School.
Isabel Preeshagul, DO, MBS, will moderate. Dr. Preeshagul is a thoracic oncologist with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
This livestream is an opportunity to connect face-to-face with others who care about lung cancer and talk about challenges we’re facing, #TogetherSeparately. Please register below for this free event. Your confirmation email will include login details.
