- Parking: Parking is free at the shelter area – follow the LCRF signs to the shelter.
Schedule
- 8:30 AM | Site opens
When you arrive, please…- Grab your flying butterfly at the butterfly tent (your butterfly is an interactive part of the Opening Ceremony)
- Stop by the CHECK-IN tent IF
- you need to register additional team/family members
- you would like to drop off donations or make a donation
- you are a team captain (to get your team captain button!)
- have fundraised $100 or more (to pick up your shirt)
- if you captain a team that raised $2,500+, because you will receive a exclusive sign for your team to walk with!
- Visit our incredible sponsors (and grab swag & resources)
- Dedicate a butterfly in honor of your loved one at the WHY WE WALK tent (You can bring copies of photos to add)
Then…stop everything you’re doing to join us for the…
- 9:30 AM | Opening Ceremony
- 9:45 AM | Walk begins
Reminders
- Don’t forget to remind your friends and family to not only come with you, but to get their donations in!
- Online registration will close Friday, Sept. 26 at 12:00 PM CT, but your friends can still come along for walk day and register on site.
- Take LOTS of photos, post them to social media with #FreetoBreatheWalk, and tag LCRF @lungcancerresearchfoundation (Facebook and Instagram), @lungcancerresearch.bsky.social (Bluesky), and/or @lcrf_org (X)!
