A Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) Association Study to Investigate the Genetic Basis of Bronchioalveolar Carcinoma
Summary:
Dr. Wigle will utilize the extensive tissue bank at the Mayo Clinic to survey different mutations (SNPs) in tumor samples from patients with lung cancer. SNP associations with disease susceptibility from this project will provide preliminary data to help defining the underlying genetic basis for the development of BAC.
