Research Project:
The Roles of NF1 and MET Mutations in Lung Adenocarcinoma
Summary:
In the largest ever genomic study of lung cancer, Dr. Collison’s team previously found two genes to be recurrently mutated: NF1 and MET. The current project aims to define the role of these two genes. Dr. Collison and his team will use a variety of laboratory techniques to see what these mutations do, and if they can be therapeutically attacked.
