Improving therapy for small cell lung cancer by exploiting DNA replication stress
Summary:
Small cell lung cancer is the most lethal type of lung cancer with limited treatment options. A major concern is that many patients ultimately develop resistance to treatment. Dr. Yu’s work will identify genes that critical for mediating treatment resistance, characterize their activities, and determine if they can be targeted to improve the efficacy of treatment for patients with small cell lung cancer.
