Research has been, and will continue to be, LCRF’s True North, and we will continue to fund research for the prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment, and cure of lung cancer.
LCRF exists to confront gaps in funding of lung cancer research and remains committed to prioritizing science that will have a measurable impact for people with a lung cancer diagnosis and those at risk for one. We will continue to provide resources, education and support for the lung cancer community, and work hand in hand with our advocacy and research partners to support the needs of the community.

By 2030, LCRF aims to nearly double its annual research investment to $5 million, dedicating at least 50% of its net revenue to transformative projects that advance lung cancer survival.

De cara al futuro, la LCRF dará prioridad a la colaboración con diversas partes interesadas de la comunidad del cáncer de pulmón para identificar y comprometer a líderes voluntarios que ayuden a dar forma a las iniciativas científicas, aumentar la visibilidad de la marca y reforzar la ejecución de los programas. Un objetivo clave es llegar a los pacientes recién diagnosticados en un plazo de 30 días, ofreciéndoles apoyo y recursos a tiempo, al tiempo que se promueve un mayor acceso al cribado y la detección precoz del cáncer de pulmón.
