When and where
- Date: National Free to Breathe Walk Weekend is octubre 4-5, but you can walk any time you’d like!
- Location: Anywhere! You can walk alone or with your friends, family or colleagues. You can hike a trial, walk in your neighborhood, or host a meet up at your local park and then go out to lunch afterwards. The options are endless!
What to expect
When you register for the Anywhere Walk, you will receive a Walk Day Kit in the mail the week leading up our National Walk Weekend. Inside the kit, you’ll receive:
- A walk bib
- A flying butterfly
- 2025 official t-shirt (if you raise $100 or more)
- Some other amazing goodies!
Steps to a great Anywhere Walk weekend!
- Watch our Opening Ceremony
- Save our Anywhere Walk playlist on Spotify
- Unbox your Anywhere Walk day kit and check out the contents.
- Grab your butterfly to hold while you walk!
- Dedicate your walk bib to whomever you are walking for
- Then put on your walking shoes and walk! (Or put your feet up… it really is your event!) Invite your friends and family to join you on your walk.
- Send out some texts with a photo of you walking, and add your fundraising page link for any last-minute donations.
- Take LOTS of photos, post them to social media with #FreetoBreatheWalk, and tag LCRF @lungcancerresearchfoundation (Facebook and Instagram), @lungcancerresearch.bsky.social (Bluesky), and/or @lcrf_org (X)!
